What are the formulations of reactive acrylic ester adhesives?
Reactive acrylic ester adhesives are divided into two types including primers and double primary agents. The primary agents include polymer(elastic body), acrylic ester monomer(low polymer) oxidizers and stabilizers. The primers include accelerator promoter (reducer), auxiliary accelerator promoter and solvents. The double primary agent do not need the primers. Both of them are primary agent. One is oxidizer and the other is accelerator promoter.
(1)Polymer elastic body always uses CSM, chloroprene rubber, acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, acrylic rubber, ABS, AMBS, MBS and PMMA. It can improve the impact resistance and peeling resistance.
(2)Acrylic ester monomer(low polymer) always uses methyl methacrylate, ethyl methacrylate, butyl methacrylate, ethylhexyl methacrylate, and glycidyl methacrylate
(3) Stabilizers always use hydroquinone, hydroquinone methyl ether, phenothiazine and BHT.
(4) Oxidizers always use diacyl peroxides such as BPO and LPO, isopropyl benzene hydroperoxide, TBH and other hydrogen peroxide, peroxide of ketone or peroxide ester.
(5) Reducer (accelerator promoter) always use amine (such as N, N-dimethylaniline, ethylenediamine and triethylamine), sulfamide (such as ethylene thiourea, N,N'-Diphenylthiourea, 1,1,3,3-Tetramethylthiourea, pyridylthiourea and mercaptobenzimidazole) and aldimine condensation.
(6) Auxiliary accelerator promoter always use organic acid metal salt , such as cobalt naphthenate, oleic acid, manganese naphthenate and vanadic accelerator promoter.
